IMPORTANT: @PXAMedia is being idled. Follow @PXAbstraction instead.

Back in 2014, I decided to create a second Twitter feed that was dedicated only to posts related to announcing and discussing my media content. I did this because my personal feed used to contain a lot more rambling, ranting and other stupidity. I took inspiration from TotalBiscuit, who created a second feed for similar reasons.

The media feed never really gained any traction (as I write this, it only has 117 followers after nearly 4 years) and I've realised that since online content creation is personality driven, people want to see the real person, not a siloed off version of them. I've also learned to stop using Twitter as much as an outlet for catharsis via ranting into the ether and my feed is much less crowded and much less angry than it used to be.

To make my branding more consistent and easier to manage, I've thus decided to idle the PXAMedia feed. I'm not deleting it for now but after this, I will no longer be posting to it. If you wish to keep up on my content, I encourage you to follow my main feed which is @PXAbstraction. I also encourage people to join my Discord at http://discord.pxa.ca, where I have a great and growing community of cool folks.

I'm not promising that I won't venture into political and/or controversial territory on the other feed sometimes so consider yourself warned. However, I do so far less than I used to and when I do, it's usually to present something with a thought out argument, instead of just yelling pointlessly. Truth be told, while I continue to use Twitter because it's vital for my content, I pretty much despise it, as I do most social media these days.

Thank you to the 117 of you who did follow this feed over the years but I think consolidating will make things easier for everyone. I hope to see you over on @PXAbstraction!
