Re: Apollo Program

@JimBridenstine @NASA

Dear Mr. Bridenstine,

How are you? My name is Tom R. Chambers, and I am a former research analyst at the Lunar Receiving Laboratory during the Apollo program (1969-1972), a retired teacher of Technology Applications, and currently a digital artist.

I have put together a poster project, "Apollo Program: Missions 1 and 7-17" as a tribute and in keeping with the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11, next year (1969-2019). An overview and as it relates to the 70 posters ... can be edited down ... comprise the project. You can peruse the posters at the following link:

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10156455354038145&type=1&l=30d9e07605

The project is sequenced, missions 1 and 7-17, and for display, the posters would hang on the wall in this fashion (order). The posters are 16"X20" (each) (could be framed). Would you be interested in mounting an exhibition? At the opening, I would like to introduce the project, and talk a bit about my working experience at the Lunar Receiving Laboratory.

Another important aspect of this project is the fact that it can be used as a teaching and motivational tool for students in the classroom. As I have mentioned, as a Technology Applications and also STEM/STEAM teacher in the past, this aspect means a lot to me.

As a photographer and graphic designer, I have meticulously enhanced/edited the NASA photos in Photoshop, and then combined the images with pertinent text (quotes/statements) by the astronauts to create a sense of wonder/awe and pride for that extraordinary era ... and also to provide impetus for continued, manned Space exploration.

There is also a PDF version of the posters: http://tomrchambers.com/apollo_program__ppt.pdf

There is also a file database of the posters (along with many other posters) at SYNC. You can view the posters at full-size, and also download them:

I would foot the bill for all production costs.

Thank you for your consideration.
