CS:GO Trivia Logic Puzzle - Answer Key
Answer Key:
(Cells in parathesis are where to find the clues I'm referring to, to make it easier for you to follow along).
Step 1) Simple is the best player, therefore he is in A4
Step 2) Since simple is adjacent to only Danish players, niko must be in A2 (device, dupreeh)
Step 3) Nikos sniper is Guardian, which means he is in E2.
Step 4) NAF is in D2.
Step 5) Ropz is in F5.
Step 6) Since all players in row 3 are major MVPs, device must be in A3 (dupreeh hasn’t won one, (A1))
Step 7) The last top 5 player is Dupreeh, and all top 5 players are in column A, therefore he must be in A5.
Step 8) PashaBicpes is the only player with a major MVP and does not have a team. (Happy (French) and Tarik aren’t in the quiz)
Step 9) You now want to find D1, we know it’s a MIBR player and it can’t be: Fallen (D2), Taco (F3), Coldzera (A4), Felps (A5), therefore it must be fer in D1.
Step 10) Kjaerbye is in B3.
Step 11) We know Gla1ve is in column C, but he can’t be in C1, C2, C3 and C4 (D2, F3), therefore he must be in C5.
Step 12) The only Swede in the top 20 is KRIMZ. He can’t be in B2 (A2) or B4 and B5 (A4).
Step 13) Since olofmeister is the only Swede in FaZe (A2) he is in F2.
Step 14) Since the two players remaining in row 2 is rain and AdreN, rain must be in B2 (A4).
Step 15) The only Faze member remaining is AdreN, therefore he must be in C2.
Step 16) The only remaining Major MVPs are: Coldzera, JW, flusha and friberg (F5). Since AdreN has only one adjacent Brazilian, fer, and there must be a Brazilian in row 3, coldzera must be in E3.
Step 17) Since EliGE is adjacent to cold, and 2 American top 20 players (The only two being automatic and EliGE) are in rains diagonals, EliGE must be in D4.
Step 18) Since automatic is the other American in the top 20, he must be in rains diagonal (B2). He can’t be in C3 as he does not have a Major MVP, and he can’t be in E5, as both E4 and F4 have to be Scandinavian (D4, C5), E5 must be a mousesport player as ropz has to be adjacent to multiple teammates (B3).
Step 19) Since E4 and F5 are playing for the same team (C1), and E4 must be a Scandinavian, sunny is the only mousesport player that is Scandinavian and therefore sunny must be in E4.
Step 20) The only top 20 player starting with M is Magisk. The only two Astralis players remaining are Xyp9x and Magisk (E3). Magisk must be in F4. It couldn’t be Xyp9x as he must be adjacent to Guardian (E2).
Step 21) Valde is the only remaining Danish player in the top 20 as Xyp9x must be in either E1 or F1, valde can’t be in B5 as he is a top 20 player (A4), he can’t be in C3 as he has not won a major MVP (F5), and he cannot be in C4, as there would then need to be 3 Danish players in row 4 (C1, A4).
Step 22) The only Astralis player remaining is Xyp9x. He must be in E1 to be in valde’s diagonal (B4). He cannot be in C3, as he isn’t a major MVP receiver (F5).
Step 23) We know FalleN is in the quiz (D1), and he cannot be in row 1 (D1). The only possible place for him to be is in D5 (B3, A4, F5 and D4).
Step 24) We know that Twistzz is in the quiz (A5). He must be in F1 as he cannot be in any other position (B3, A4 and D4).
Step 25) We now know that aizy is in the quiz, and he is adjacent to valde (F1). The only position he can be in is B5 (F5 and C1).
Step 26) C4 is the only remaining position in NiKo’s diagonals. JW is the only player, with a two-letter name (B5) who has been in a major (F5) and is Scandinavian (D4).
Step 27) We know friberg is in the quiz and in column C (F2), how now must be in C3.
Step 28) We know oskar must be in the quiz (A5), and ropz needs another teammate adjacent to him (B3), he therefore must be in E5.
Step 29) We know flusha is in the quiz (C4) and he can be in D3 as he doesn’t follow rules (C4) like F3 and D2.
