Explanation
The reason for this7-day ban was stated to be using “hateful slurs”. To maintain the integrity of the Twitch platform as well as the personal integrity of my image I’m posting this. I was told I got banned for saying “You F**”.
The first basis by which I deny these claims are by the way of frequent playing around with my friends and community by the usage of the word: “Fat”. By viewing the attached clips and YouTube videos, you can see I have a certain style of playing around by quickly joking around with my friends by throwing a barrage of words at them. Very often I use the words: “Fat”, “piece of Fat-Fat”, “Fatty”, etc. It is understandable that this word may be misheard or misinterpreted, and for this, I apologize. However, I am fully adamant that the word “F**” has never come out of my mouth whether on stream or off-stream, and I maintain the fact that this is a misinterpretation of the word. Moving forward I will be careful in my verbiage and seek to eliminate any chance of misinterpretation of any words that may cause offense and I will be diligent in our upholding of the Twitch Terms of Service.
This is my livelihood and to deny my appeal with the following message is not fair. “Your account was suspended for hateful conduct, such as racism, sexism, homophobia, or other untargeted harassment. This type of activity is not permitted on our services per our Community Guidelines (Twitch’s Community Guidelines) regarding Hateful Conduct and Harassment.” I spent countless hours on my appeal. I love the Twitch Platform and it has absolutely changed my life for the greater good, but when I see this occur it makes me lose faith in my future on Twitch. I hope you guys understand where I’m coming from and I love you all <3. Take it easy and see you guys soon.
