In Praise of Pat O'Day
So sad to hear that Pat O'Day lost his battle with lung cancer. As a child of broadcasting Pat was a towering figure and I was so excited to meet when I moved to Seattle. I was overwhelmed at how nice and considerate he was, always providing advice and encouragement, always with the time to spin a tale about Jimi Hendrix or Led Zeppelin from his days as a promoter. Pat choose to be a class act in his dealings with other broadcasters and for @gasman206 and I he was an unfailing source of humor and wisdom. He was larger then life in every way a legend in rock and roll and radio. He was one of a kind a warm and caring person above all Godspeed Pat and thank you from the bottom of my heart
