115. Kung Paano SIya Nawala (2018)
Rating: 7.5

I love the whole melancholic anti-romcom mood in this film. It sets the exact tone to establish these very profound characters. Both characters are very flawed in their own ways and the whole story revolved around on how they would be able to handle and keep up with each other’s very different lifestyles and perspectives in life. My main take-away from this film is that love has no judgment and it should make room for acceptance and people to change. Definitely loved how it ended. It was the perfect ending. Loved the cinematography and directing. I am all for that hand-held camera work! It’s one of my favorite techniques in indie films (ala Brilliante Mendoza).
